A unique handmade Cyanotype Photogram- Sweet Cicely Leaf,

Botanical art- From my Herb Garden Collection, a beautiful Sweet Cicely leaf, captured in a traditional Cyanotype Photogram. What a pretty thing she is, all lacey and refined, like a piece of embroidery. This herb often grows in hedgerows and edges of woods, showing her creamy white umbel flowers quite early in the year, she is a good source of nectar. Her leaves can be used as a natural sweetener in food I believe. This little photogram would make a pretty gift for someone special, a perfect way to share the love. For further information on the Cyanotype and Wet Cyanotype techniques see ‘About' in my shop. Created on 300gsm acid free watercolour paper, hinge-mounted to a backboard and a soft white mount both acid free and in a fully recyclable protective bag.
