About this item
'Lets Get Loved-Up' Handmade fused glass hearts has been made by combining a number of different techniques. The hearts are made from glassline sheet which is then sandwiched between two layers of glass. The coloured glass hearts are fused onto the front of the layered glass. This gives a slight feeling of three-dimension. The finished panel is then fired in my kiln for 13 hours. This allows all the different pieces to fuse together. Glassline paper gives a much more subtle finish to the hearts. Materials: bullseye glass, glassline powders, glassline paper, wood base, steel bracket. Measurements of glass panel: height 17.3cm, width 5cm, depth 8mm. Full measurement: height 19.5cm, width & depth 7.5cm Kiln fired glass.
