About this item
Rippled Ash platter. 278 x 31mm (27.8 x 3.1 cm). A nicely curving Rippled Ash platter, would be great for serving food, displaying items or as a decorative object. It has a shallow curve with a double rim. The platter is mostly creamy in colour with some darker streaks, one side is the darker olive ash colours which are darker and streaky. Running through it all are the ripples in the grain, which look almost 3D in the light.

A lovely piece of timber picked up from a local supplier, I simply had to have. The ripple in the grain creates lovely effects.

Very pleased with my purchase. I searched high and low for a bowl turned from Horse Chestnut. No luck. And then I found loads on Folksy at very reasonable prices. Nice!

Bought 1 itemSo pleased with this! Bought as a birthday gift from me to me. The grain in the wood is beautiful and I love the way the glass candle holder sits proud of the base. Such a good size too. Really well packaged. Perfect!
