I grew up with a seal-point Siamese cat and still adore these lovely creatures. I have wanted to create a print like this for ages but only recently came up with a design that I was satisfied with. This set of very limited prints was done as an experiment alongside my more traditional Siamese cat print (see listing in my shop). I only wish I had printed more of them now.

Full description
This is an original, hand carved and hand pressed print using a reduction process.
In a reduction print all the colours come from the same block, layered one at a time. The lino is gradually cut away as each colour is printed so only a very small area remains for the final, darkest tone.
As the block is essentially destroyed during the process, a reduction print can never be reprinted.
Only 4 prints were produced from the block. This print is number 2/4.
