Full description

Moon gazing hare is surrounded by the leaves of springtime on this triple moon hanging ornament. The triple moon is often use to denote the three aspects of the goddess. Hares have many lunar associations and it was believed witches could shape shift into hares.

I see hares around my cottage and they're always special animals.

This is pyrography on a 3mm birch ply shape, coloured with inks and pencils. It's approx 15cm x 8cm high.

Please be careful the tips of the moon are sharp!

Wood is a natural surface so there may be imperfections and it ages with time. Pyrography fades in direct sunlight.

Colours can appear differently on different devices and screens.
