Fabulously comfortable split leg pottery apron with crossback straps, in tough cotton canvas - a pinafore style with impressive coverage and a lovely dusty red-pink colour. Designed with potters, artists and makers in mind, the split skirt allows lots of movement, whilst ensuring each leg is covered when sitting at the wheel or work bench. The easy-fit cross strap design means no ties around the neck, or dangly ties coming undone when your hands are covered in 'muckiness'! Meticulously designed, beautifully sewn and made-to-last, this apron is highly specialised workwear for craftspeople. STUDIO SALE - This is the last petite size apron in this colour/design but I have altered it to have adjustable straps (to be like the now updated No4:5 design 2023) KEY FEATURES: Tough medium-heavy weight canvas - Crossback - Bib pocket - Skirt pocket - Tool loop for cleaning cloth - Strongly constructed - Thoroughly researched & tested design - Sustainable small batch making SIZE: approx UK 10-18 (USA 6-14). 92cm bib top to hem, 27cm across bib top, 100cm apron skirt width. (Model size UK10, 5'7"/170cm) FABRIC & CARE: 100% cotton Oeko-Tex 100 certified. Machine washable 30C, slow spin. Do not tumble dry. INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE: Local state/customs taxes may be payable in some countries. Multiple orders may be sent in separate packages (because Royal Mail only insure up to £250) or occasionally in one package via UPS when that's more economical.

Working from my little studio, in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make workwear aprons in small batches, using natural fabrics, with minimal waste. I always choose fabrics that are washable and hardwearing, constructing aprons that will last many years longer than normal clothes, retaining their designed purpose and functionality.

It's really sturdy yet soft denim and 100 denim, so it won't stretch nor be a fire risk The pocket has already rescued a gemstone for me.
