Circular Bird in Fused Glass - 6032C

We're not sure of the species, but this cheerful chappie will make a lovely hanger for your window throughout the year. He could also live out in your garden and have a natter with your feathered visitors. He is approximately 8 cm in diameter and features a red wing with a white body and a green breast. He is constructed from a circle of white glass as the main body, over which we position a specially cut piece of glass to make the wing. We sprinkle powdered glass to make his coloured breast and add small pieces of glass for his beak and eye and pop him in the kiln for 12 hours. Once he's cooled down, we drill a hole, add a bail and string the chain. As we hand-cut all the glass used in our creations so you'll never get two the same. Please bear in mind that the glass we use has variations in colour so your robin may not be exactly the same as those shown. It will, however, have a white body, red wing and green chest.
