Handwoven colourful cushion (28cm x 47cm) Woven using a double cloth technique that allows for bold interchanging patterning inspired by mid-century graphic illustrations and a playful sense of fun. I have created a statement piece to brighten up any interior. The cushion is woven using a mixture of cotton and British lambswool that has been gently felted to give a soft feel. The cushion is finished with a cotton canvas backing and a bright contrasting zip concealed under a central flap. The inner is filled with a duck feather cushion pad.

I send my work Royal Mail. Any last orders for Christmas will need to be with me by midnight on Wednesday 17th December so that I can get them in the post in time for the Royal Mail deadline.

I have always had a passion for colour and I began to create this interior collection as part of my Ma Textiles. The inspiration was childhood book illustrations, memories of happy times in response to a period of personal sadness.
