About this item
A portion of pretty patchwork, hand stitched by the 'english paper piecing' method forms the cover for this needle book. The fabrics chosen are mostly vintage and either offcuts from previous projects or reclaimed from summer garments or curtains.The cover is backed with an offcut of unused fleece fabric. The edges of the cover are bound with a strips of fabric from my stash (this one approx 20 years old!) The needle book is lined in a pink and lilac print fabric - backed with fusible interfacing, and closes with a button hole stitch loop over a vintage, pink button. Two pieces of vintage, unused flannelette, from my Grandmother's 'bottom drawer', provide four 'pages' for your pins and needles. Height: 9.5 cm approx
