It is mounted on a 20mm brooch bar, I have soldered to the copper base. The pin fastens with a safety catch. Your brooch will be sent boxed, by Royal Mail tracked 48.

Butterflies are a tempting subject for the enamel scrollwork that I do. It suggests the fluid patterning of butterfly wings in flight. The shimmer of light reflecting from the piece captures, to some extent, the movement of the wings. I do not attempt realistic representation of any species, just the suggestion of a butterfly.
