About this item
A beautiful wooden, Swedish style spreader- perfect for butter, jam or anything else you choose! Hand made using traditional tools including axe, knife and drawknife. The finished item shows the lovely smooth facets from these sharp tools and no sanding is used. The stunning wood grain is enhanced and sealed using food grade organic linseed oil. My elf hat makers logo is also burned into the handle. The sycamore log used for making the spreader, was locally sourced from an arborist. Your item will be posted in environmentally friendly, recycled and plastic-free packaging which can be placed into either composting or your paper recycling bin. Caring for your spreader- hand wash with soapy water and leave to air dry. Do not leave submerged for long periods in water and do not clean in a dishwasher.
