Inspired by stylised images of sail boats, I have made these using the colours of the ocean and included bubbles to create beautiful textures within the glass.

Full description
Decorative sail boat hand made from recycled glass. These are beautiful when placed on a window to allow the light to shine through the textures within the fused glass.
Each piece of glass is hand cut and fused with inclusions including crushed coloured glass, bubble powders, copper stars/hearts and wire rods. These are then fired in my kiln, within my home studio, each piece is then set into a small wooden base which has been varnished with a matte varnish. Due to the proccess used each piece is unique.
These boats measure approximately 15cm by 7cm including the base.
