Full description
This handbag features a vibrant blue butterfly.
The front is a textured mint green fabric which has been overlaid with black and white striped ribbon and then a blue velvet butterfly made from a combination of rich blue velvet and a lighter sky blue velvet then using a black zig-zag stitch I have added the intricate detail. the body of the butterfly is made from black corduroy.
To finish the butterfly I have hand-stitched sequin and bead spots
The back is a complex check, created by overlaying many different colored and textured ribbons, in black, white, and blue ribbons.
The front and back have both been piped in a chunky black corduroy.
The sides are made from a Navy corduroy that has black leather straps that connect to the metal rings and then the adjustable strap which has been made from a navy pin cord fabric and layers of 3 different ribbons.
This bag fastens with a light blue zip which reveals inside a navy quilted satin lining with makers label.
