About this item
A lovely ceramic fox brooch, one of my designs based on nature and wildlife. The process of making my brooches involve me cutting the shape in clay, by hand, the dry clay is then fired in a kiln. They are then all hand painted with an underglaze paint and then dipped into a transparent shiny glaze, to give it it's final finish. Back in the kiln for a second firing, so each one is unique! I've attached the brooch finding with araldite to make sure it is secure. The brooch comes in a lovely jewellery black box, to keep it safe. This is a lovely hand crafted brooch!

I've been making a range of ceramic brooches based on my favourite british animals and birds, I love this cheeky little fox and get so excited when I see a real fox roaming around at night! I find nature is always an inspiration for my work and brings me so much joy.
