I love making quilts in black and white, this one just screamed it needed a splash of red so that is what I did.

Full description
This lovely quilt is a black and white patchwork with red poppies hand appliqued onto it. I have hand quilted it, on the black outer border there are hand quilted large leaves in red thread and on the corners there are red poppy button. The edge is a praire point in black and white fabric.
The backing is soft white cotton fabric and the wadding is Hobbs 2oz polyester .
