This one of a kind necklace is part of my series exploring the garden. It incorporates one of my own hand painted cabochons, vintage and swarovski crystals, and beautiful Anna Bronze decorative bronze findings. I've used a mix of techniques - bead embroidery and beadweaving, and every single high quality Japanese or Czech bead has been applied and stitched together individually to build up a unique and beautiful art piece.

The central focal cabochon is 50mm in diameter, and the central bead embroidered piece approximately 95 x 70mm. With the spiralling neck strap and cast bronze seed pod catch the finished necklace is 51cm long. Do feel free to message me if you'd like to see some more images of it on a real person!

I'm an award winning beadworker from the London suburbs, working with only the finest quality beads, crystals, findings and materials, and using one of the slowest but most enjoyable stitching disciplines around! All of my pieces are made with love and care, and this piece will be delivered in a gift box ready for you to gift or enjoy yourself. I made this enormous cabochon around 2 years ago, planning to use it in a competition entry. In the end it didn't work with the rest of the piece, which was fine as I won the competition and got to keep the cab. Last year I worked on a piece for an Egyptian collar in orange and turquoise, but still this cab didn't fit, so I decided to make it into a piece entirely focussed around the cab and the beautiful natural Anna Bronze cast findings I had in my stash. Pairing it with the brilliant huge vintage crystal has been really fun - I love that the crystal has lost much of it's foil backing, so you can see the seed beads I've used to capture it and really get a feel for the structure of the piece.
