About this item
This is a very special, one of a kind, evening or occasion fabric necklace. This vintage feel textile is repurposed from a beautiful preloved garment, with the original emboidery and decorations, the neckline of which I have used for this necklace.The grey green background fabric with delicate purple flowers is probably Indian silk. It is richly embellished with tiny gold sequins, gold beads and pinky purple jewels. The necklace is edged with a gold piping sewn on by hand. There is a fabric sash which drapes around the back of the neck and the necklace is secured with a decorative button and loop. The necklace is backed with purple China silk. Between the two layers is a layer of felt to give the necklace structure. It measures approximately 43cm down from the shoulder. This beautiful necklace will be gift wrapped and sent Royal Mail.
