This is a delightful set of ten handmade silk buttons, some wrapped in light pink and pale green silk, and all blanket stitched in shades of green or russet. I thought of seed heads while making them. The largest measures 1", and the others 0.75". They would look lovely on a cloche hat, card or handbag.

I will endeavour to post within 24 hours, but items may still take a long time to reach you due to the pressure under which the Post Office is working. Unfortunately I will no longer be able to send items to Northern Ireland. Actual colours may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and that everyone sees these colours differently. Therefore I cannot guarantee that the colour you see accurately portrays the true colour of the product.

Sorting my craft stash, I came across some plastic button blanks left over from when I was doing City and Guilds Embroidery Design. In the same box were some bobbins of pure silk yarn, the colours of which suggested seed heads. Several editions of the News later I had completed these buttons!
