Welcome to my Folksy Shop. Most of my work is inspired by Nature and Seasons, with a whimsical touch. I create original textile art, hanging decorations, cards and gifts, using a combination of fabric applique, free motion machine embroidery, hand embroidery and paint.
A lot of my designs are carefully photographed and printed onto cards and bookmarks. make gifts and accessories using Free Motion and Hand Embroidery Techniques.
Having moved into our new house a few months back, we now, have regular visits from a variety of birds, one of which is the Blue Tit. I've always been fond of this bird and to have them visit is just perfect.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

The Blue Tit - By Michelle Corbin Design
The Blue Tit is one of our much loved Birds in Britain. They are a welcomed sight in our gardens from Spring onwards. This Blue Tit has been pieced together with tiny pieces of fabric and worked using a Free Motion Embroidered Technique, where the sewing machine needle is my pencil and I draw and colour to add texture and definition..
The Hanging Decoration is backed with white felt, with white Twine for hanging. Each one is completely handmade and are approximately 11 x 5 cm. Please note that the placement of the fabrics and stitching may differ slightly on each bird as they are individually made, but this gives each one it's own character and unique finish, so therefore the one you receive may differ from those in the photos
This Blue Tit Decoration, would make a wonderful gift, for any bird loving being. For someone who enjoys Bird Watching or just appreciates our Garden Birds. It would be perfect hung in a conservatory or lounge, bedroom or study, maybe from a plant or wall hook to enhance the home decor. Comes presented on a Kraft Card 15 x 15 cm
