A Nostalgic print with a tilt to the style of the Arts and Crafts movement.
It has the feel of one of those pretty bookplates that appear in old gardening books.
Cyclamen plants have one of the most unusual seed pods. It is held in a tightly coiled stalk which once the seeds are ripe will spring out and launch them into the air.
This is the first in a series of floral prints.

'Cyclamen' - Original, Limited Edition Linocut Reduction Print.
Hand cut and printed on hand press in four colours. Signed, titled and numbered in pencil by the artist.
Limited Edition of 25, (plus 4 Artists Proofs), once these are sold that's the edition finished, so once they are all sold then that's it! A certificate of authenticity will be supplied with the print.
Supplied in a mount (matted) - all you need is a frame!

Making art through the medium of lino is one where surprises are a daily occurrence. Every time an image is hand pressed the anticipation of the reveal when pulling back the paper can make for some wonderful, unique images. The weight of the press, amount of ink and paper used means every single print is different, such a refreshing change in this digital age. The evolution of each print puts the owner in direct contact with the artist.

Printed in pink, soft green, grass green and rich brown ink on archival quality printing paper using water based inks.
