Plant Form Hand Embroidered Hoop Art

A single plant stem, stitched with yellow crewel wool onto 100% wool felt. The design is minimal and bold, and would look great as part of a gallery wall or propped on a shelf. The embroidery is framed with a traditional embroidery hoop. The embroidery is stitched using 100% Appleton Wool, which was also used by William Morris! It is dyed and spun in England. The wool creates a lovely texture when stitched, with a soft sheen and a raised surface to the stitches. The width of the piece is approx 3” / 7.5cm. The hoop art can be hung from the wall using the tightening screw or a loop of ribbon (supplied). Inspired by my own houseplants and garden. Each of my embroidery pieces are unique, due to the hand stitching and the natural textures of the wool. I love designing and creating each piece. The hoop art wall decoration is securely wrapped in tissue before posting in a sturdy envelope. Postage to UK addresses is free on orders over £15.
