Treasure Chest Stained Glass Suncatcher Handmade 001 Abstract

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A brand new design for summer 2018 when I wanted to make something dramatic and challenging. An entirely modern abstract design which I've cut from 30 different shades and types of rich jewel coloured glass. I've added sparkling multi-faceted crystals to give it special focal points. I've bordered my vibrantly coloured abstract design with prettily textured clear glass then added a strengthening framer of twsted wire. This is 19.5 cm x 17 cm and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top of the suncatcher. As this piece is heavy I recommend it is hung from a permanent hook rather than just the suction hook which I supply with it. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece to ensure it is unique. This is the first I've made so all photos are of this piece for sale here.
