I love making needle books. As someone who sews I know just how invaluable they are. They're also lovely to make and a great canvas for embroidery. Practical and decorative at the same time.
I've hand embroidered the front of this one with my 'trellis flowers' design using quality DMC threads in shades of blue (one of my favourite colours).
There are 4 pages of wool-mix felt for your needles/pins and the book is secured with a button and crocheted loop. The book measures approximately 10 cm by 10.5 cm. The fabric on the outside of the case is calico and it has a cotton floral print lining.
A lovely way to keep your own needles in check, it would also make a lovely gift for a crafter/maker.
