Ceramic kitty pot with stripe & dash design
PLEASE NOTE - This pot has been reduced in price due to slight crazing of the glaze and also a small hairline crack near the ear. This crack is in the clay underneath the glaze and should not break as it has been fully sealed with glaze. The crazing happens occasionally to glaze after firing and is not really noticeable unless closely inspected. It is not a structural problem and the pot is still fully usable.
Hand built from white earthenware clay and then painted with grey, black and yellow underglaze. This is then fired to 1100 degrees in my kiln. Glaze is then applied and the pot is re-fired to give a shiny finish
Approx 8cm tall & 8cm diameter
Bottom is unglazed.
My pots are intended to be purely decorative as they are not designed to hold water.
Please note, all pots are hand built. They are not made on a potters wheel. This means they will be slightly wonky with occasional lumps and bumps! These slight imperfections do not detract from the style of the piece.
