Full description
This small box is ideal to keep small treasured items in.
It is made from solid recycled mahogany and decorated using carefully selected burr veneers.
I have chosen a water lily design using veneers with subtle colours to bring out the beauty of the grain.
I have added solid brass hinges, red baize inside and a brass catch to ensure the lid closes snugly.
The surface of the box is finished to a silky smooth matt finish using hard-wearing polyurethane varnish and wax polish.
Each box on my site is made from basic raw materials and a design is never repeated so each box is truly unique and therefore special.
