I love to use recycled silk scarves in my work, which I buy from local charity shops.
This piece was inspired by the work of Nicole Ladrak, a textile artist
I love how a cottage can nestle into a landscape.

Burnside Croft Textile Art
This picture is designed and created by myself from recycled silk and organza fabric
I place layer upon layer of silk and organza to create texture
I use free machine embroidery to add detail to the landscape
and then some hand stitching for the finer detail
This picture is stretched onto an artists canvas
and is ready to hang
