About this item
Gorgeous sterling silver chainmail style link necklace, a classically elegant statement piece. Made up of 1.5mm thick wire links 1.7cm in diameter which have then been linked together. I make each link separately, shaping and soldering them individually then saw them open, attach them together and solder them back together again. The necklace is approximately 20 inches long and is hallmarked and finished with a hook clasp. This piece is not designed to lay flat and sparkles as it catches the light. All my jewellery has been designed and made by myself in my studio in Wales.

Inspired by chainmail I wanted to make something elegant and classically beautiful. Although this design is simple it is also timeless. I love the way the silver sparkles when it catches the light.
