Full description
This lovely needle book has been handmade using pretty floral and spot cotton fabrics. There are 4 denim pages inside for storing needles and pins. The edges of the pages have been zig-zag stitched to minimize fraying (although a little fraying always adds to the charm of denim I think).
A grey wool felt heart has been bonded and appliquéd onto the front of the book. To this I've added my own hand embroidered flowers together with beads and sequins. The book is secured with a ribbon tie.
It has been interlined which gives it a lightly padded feel and when closed it measures approximately 10.5 cm by 15 cm.
A very pretty way to keep your own needles it would also make a lovely gift.
