Full description
This lovely box has a very pretty lilac flower design hand painted onto it. The background is a mottled effect of pale apple greens through to teal with a crackle design and swirls stamped in a darker green. The flowers have a dark blue base with each petal individually painted in shades of darker purple through to lilac to give a very 3d effect and then each is finished with a dark blue dot in the centre and a touch of glitter. (Please note the flowers are a bit more purple than the photo suggests). The flowers are sitting on a leafy branch and the whole thing is finished off with two wooden butterflies again hand painted to match the flowers and with a touch of glitter.
The inside and underneath are painted in a matching dark apple green.
The box measures 7.5cm tall 17cm across and 12cm deep so is a good size for jewellery, photo's, keepsakes general bits and pieces or to present a gift in. Would look lovely on a dressing table or in a lounge.
The acrylic paint forms a waterproof seal but I would probably avoid particularly damp environments like kitchens or bathrooms just to be on the safe side.
It is made of a very thick strong board and is very sturdy.
