A friend of mine once asked me to crochet some poppies for a project they were doing around Remembrance Day. When I had finished making some for her, I started making them for friends and family. Last year, through selling them on Folksy and through word of mouth, £60 was raised for the Royal British Legion. They continue to be my best selling item!
