Embroidered Felted Meadow Cuff

A delicately pretty, and beautifully textured, meadow design felted and embroidered, textile cuff featuring bright and cheerful daisies. A variety of hand-dyed fibers have been felted to an 'eco' felt (commercially produced from recycled plastic bottles) background, using an embellisher machine. Snippets of yarns and other fibres, carefully retained from other projects, together with some lovely curly Wensleydale locks and mohair fibres, have been felted in place to create the 'meadow'. Various vintage threads, including vintage linen and a lovely space-dyed, lustrous thread used to represent clover, have been used to stitch the meadow flowers. Each meadow 'seeded' by Lynwoodcrafts is unique in composition. The cuff is lined with green ribbon and closes with a button-hole-stitch loop over a green vintage button.
