Daffodil Stained Glass Framed Suncatcher Spring Flower

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. A beautiful bright yellow Daffodil, framed in lovely clear, frost textured, glass. The petals and trumpet in the middle are from 4 different types and textures of bright yellow glass. Using different shades and textures give it all movement especially when it catches the light. The daffodil fits over the frame in some places to give a 3-dimensional effect especially as the spaces round the flower are not filled in. I've added twisted wire round the frame to really set the picture off well and give added strengh. The suncatcher is 5” wide, 5 1/4” high and hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached at either side of the top. This will make a wonderful present for someone or just for yourself as it is very special and absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same. Even from the same pattern I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
