I have always loved to draw and paint, and I wanted to try some different surfaces out for my painting. So, I started painting on small pieces of slate to make key rings and fridge magnets, and I thought 'why don't I try painting rocks & pebbles too?', so I did. I love painting onto these surfaces, as each one brings a different picture to mind, so I end up painting what the rock reminds me of most, according to its size, shape etc.

Beautiful robin painted onto a small pebble using acrylics. Size 7 x 5 x 2.5cm approx. This would make an ideal paperweight, or can be a lovely ornament that would look great in any room. Great gift idea.
