I am temporarily opening this shop for the christmas period to sell the last few items I have in stock and some items that are reduced in price due to slight imperfections that will be visible in the each items listing photos.

All my designs try and achieve a unique, simplistic aesthetic based on preconceived proportions from the wood i find at my local woodyard. I wanted to create a clock that is modern and provides a personal touch via natural wood grains, size and look. Versatility is important so the chosen dimensions mean it is just as effective and practical on a bedside table, sideboard or mantle piece as intended, providing a clear view of the time via colourful handles and simple holes as the face. Tulip wood and beech wood is used due to its light weight properties and sustainability. An attractive finish can easily be obtained with minimal involvement via machines and finishing products.

Full description
The mantle block clock is a simple graphically inspired clock for your fireplace or sideboard. Utilizing locally sourced and sustainably forested beech wood, 12 holes represent the face/hour marks of the clock and a battery operated quartz clock mechanism completes the design. The brightly coloured minute hand thus passes in front of each hour hole to register a clear and easily readable time.
Currently this design is available in plain beech wood with blue hands. The clock measures 280mm long, 135mm high by 35mm in depth and comes with a battery. Finished in Danish oil to accentuate and protect the wood grain
Each clock is hand made to order so imperfections and surface defects could be visible due to the nature of the wood.
