These delicate star earrings are created from eco-friendly fine silver charms (approximately 6 mm across) with hand-stamped stars, on sterling silver ear wires. The earrings have been repeatedly hand polished and gently oxidised so that the star stamp stands out. Picture two shows a matching star necklace, while pictures three and four show alternative star earrings and matching pendant, with larger 11 mm charms. These earrings will arrive carefully tissue wrapped in a recycled kraft jewellery box with lid and white cotton fill insert (as shown in picture five). Sustainable fashion & meaningful gifts These tiny charms are made from recycled silver. The charms are created from a precious metal clay which looks and feels like porcelain clay with fine particles of pure silver mixed with a non-toxic organic binder. When fired the binder burns out leaving a fine silver piece, which can be hallmarked as fine silver. Each charm is shaped, stamped, dried, sanded and then fired. The charms are then repeatedly polished so that the silver has a mirror finish. Only then are they carefully oxidised and hand polished to achieve the silver and antiqued accents shown in the pictures. Each pair of charms are handcrafted to order. The charms are stamped by hand, not machine engraved, so the charms are totally unique.
