I am a jewellery maker based in Southampton, Hampshire. I have been designing and creating jewellery since 2013 and opened my Folksy shop in 2014. I have recently taken a break from online selling to concentrate on designing new pieces and other projects, but I am now back and super excited to share new designs and ideas with you.
I love to create recycled silver necklaces, bracelets and earrings, using high quality sterling silver components. Selling on Folksy gives me the opportunity to create jewellery that I love to wear, while allowing me to spend time with my three sons (who are growing up fast!).
All my jewellery is created with great care and attention to detail. It will arrive with you beautifully packaged and ready to wear and enjoy every single day. I also love the fact that the silver I use is kind to the planet, coming as it does from recycled silver scrap, including photographic negatives and other recycled silver.
Most of the jewellery that you see here is in stock, and will be sent to you (beautifully packaged and ready to wear) in three working days (usually sooner), save custom orders and some made to order necklaces which will take seven working days to ship. All shipping times and policies are clearly marked on each listing.

How will my jewellery be wrapped and packaged?
All the jewellery that you see here will be sent to you tissue wrapped in a recycled kraft jewellery box with lid and white cotton fill insert. The jewellery boxes which I use are recycled and also recyclable, meaning that they are eco friendly as well as very pretty. Your order will then be posted to you in a small cardboard PIP box (which can also be recycled).
Which necklace length will be right for me?
I have different options available for you to choose from when you order a necklace. The variations available are 16, 18 & 20 inch chains. The 16 inch chain is usually described as a choker style and will sit tightly against the base of your throat. The 18 inch chain is a princess style and will sit on your collar bone. The 20 inch chain is commonly described as a matinee style and will sit below your collar bone.
How should I care for my new jewellery?
Over time, silver jewellery can tarnish. It is important to care for silver jewellery so that it continues to look beautiful, and it is worth giving some thought to how you store, wear, and look after each piece.
I advise storing your jewellery in a dry and air-tight box, separating each piece into an individual bag. Wear your jewellery regularly, but please remember to remove it when working with household chemicals or foods that contain sulphur (such as eggs, mustard and onions). Avoid swimming and sun-bathing when wearing your jewellery. I find that it is best to put your jewellery on last when getting dressed, to avoid contact with perfumes, body lotions and make up. Enjoy!
