This etched bronze cuff bracelet / bangle bearing flying crows has been chemically etched and hand forged from bronze sheet and finished with light antique patina. It has been polished to a mirror shine, revealing the lovely, peach tone of this strong, durable metal.
This particular type of bronze is an alloy of copper, tin and phosphorus: it is a difficult metal to form and requires a lot of patience and annealing to reach the form you see here. Bronze has been used to make prized jewellery since prehistoric times, and will stand the test of time.
Bangle is approximately 19cm in circumference, 5cm width
Please note that etch may vary slightly from the image shown, as this is a repeatable but handmade form.
