This Shakespeare collection of purses and notebooks was inspired by the fact that I live close to Stratford upon Avon, the home of William Shakespeare.

Full description
This handmade coin purse has been made using natural linen fabric. It forms part of my Shakespeare collection which includes several notebooks and purses.
I have embellished the front of the purse with a picture of Miranda from the play “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare. I have added some white lace and three yellow vintage buttons. The purse has a white zip closure, and a self fabric zip pull made from yellow hemp twine and macramé. It has been interfaced to give it structure, and the lining is a heavy weight calico fabric. On the back of the purse I have appliquéd a quote from the play.
This unusual unique fabric purse can be used as a coin purse. It is big enough to hold several cards, notes, a mobile phone and a quantity of silver and copper change.
Please note that the money and mobile in the photograph is not included with the purchase.
Measurements:
The purse is 14 cm (5.5 ins) wide and 11.5 cm (4.5 ins) deep.
