Robert Kaufman is the designer of the fabric I have used to make this sewing purse. It is called “Vintage Couturier”. On the fabric are sewing machines, dummies, and tape measures, and the titles in French.
On the front of the purse I have added some white lace and five vintage turquoise buttons. It has a blue zip closure with a self fabric zip pull. The purse has been interfaced and the lining is a heavy weight calico fabric.
This purse would be ideal for holding all those sewing essentials and notions such as tape measure, scissors, needles, threads, spare bobbins, seam ripper, etc. I am sure you will find the purse useful for whatever items you wish to keep safe.
I think it is a very pretty fabric and I was attracted to the fabric because of the vintage inspired design. The purse has been hand crafted to a high standard and is a unique item.
