Full description
This box is of exceptional quality being constructed in solid mahogany and veneered on all four sides. The lid is decorated with a unique circular copper etching of a tree design. The veneers used are best quality oak with African Rosewood for the diamond patterns.
Inside the box has a removable 4 partition tray for storing small jewellery items. Underneath is a concealed compartment for storing larger items. Both are lined with black beize.
It is finished with many layers of shellac and given a final wax polish to produce a semi-matt finish. Good quality solid brass hinges and clasp are fitted to ensure smooth operation of the lid.
