I had a piece of hessian and thought that using coloured t shirts would be the ideal to make a gorgeous rug.

Full description
This rug is made using several colours of cotton t shirts I used mostly recycled two new.
I cut these into strips which I prodded into hessian.
The pile is soft and thick with a depth of aprox two and a half inches.
I stitched a hessian backing onto the rug which is hemmed.
This rug should not be machine washed but can be spot cleaned and given a shake.
It measures 28" x 17" from the back on the hessian.
This multi colour rug would look good in any room.
