The Queens Diamond Jubilee was the inspiration for this cosy. We are having a tea party and this will be just fine to keep the tea warm.

This knitting pattern for a tea cosy featuring a union jack . essential for every tea party- how can you live without it?
Materials
Use an Aran weight (US Worsted) yarn that has a knit tension of 18 sts and 25 rows over stocking stitch on 5 mm (UK/Canada/Aus no.6, US no.8) needles.
I used King Cole Merino Blend Aran—1 x 50g ball each of shades 897 Parchment, 778 Denim, and 777 Claret.
Size
This tea pot cosy will fit a medium size Tea Pot. The width of the cosy is approx 37.5 cm all round and 16 cm high. (Not including the bobble)
