After making a set of Wind in the Willows sock characters as a personal project, just for fun, I decided to make more toads & frogs as I liked the character the big lips and sunken eye style gives them.

Meet Fatema, the fancy Sock Frog.
Fatema is made using a pair of brand new ladies socks in red and white with a lily shaped flower pattern coverage. She measures 52cms from head to toe and is stuffed with polyester filling.
Fatema Frog has handsewn big red lips incorporating an inner kiss shape of sparkly red felt. She has tiny blue button eyes sewn to a white felt base with sparkly red felt eyelids and black felt mascara eyelash detail. The cuff of one of the socks has been used to look like she's wearing a polo neck jumper.
