This is a stunning tablet woven trim. It has been woven using 100% pure wool from Bluefaced Leicester sheep. I have hand dyed the wool using natural plant dyes that were used from Viking times and onwards. I have used Woad (blue), Madder (red), Weld (yellow) and overdyeing using both Weld and Woad (green).
The trim features a beautiful border in red and yellow which has been woven using separate border cards to produce a neat border. The pattern consist of chevrons in red and yellow with a green centre.
This trim would be perfect for reenactment and would make any garment stand out.
