Full description
This candle is poured into a vintage cup and saucer produced from the renowned Tuscan pottery, who have a long history and have produced some extremely desirable porcelain.
The cup and saucer is in excess of 40 years old, and bears a lovely stylised retro floral design of pink flowers and green grasses. Whilst the cup and saucer backgrounds are pure white, the inside of the cup is a very pretty pale yellow colour, perfectly offsetting the soy wax candle it contains.
The cup itself measures 7cm in height, and 8.5cm in diameter across the top, while the saucer has a diameter of 14cm.
The candle is 100% pure EcoSoya wax, which comes from a fully sustainable resource, is biodegradable, and burns cleanly with no soot or smoke.
The wax has been left in it’s natural colour of light ivory, which has a beautiful silky and creamy appearance, and is scented with MANDARIN & MIMOSA FRAGRANCE.
A further benefit of using EcoSoya wax is that any spills can be cleaned easily with hot soapy water – as can your gorgeous cup and saucer, leaving you with a true collector’s piece of vintage crockery to either display, or to use.
As with any true vintage item, the condition of this cup and saucer reflect their age and usage over the years. We rate the condition of this cup and saucer as “excellent” being in a virtually unused condition.
