Full description

Why start the day with a boring mass produced plastic, when you can have a one-off razor?

This razor is made with solid glass, and can take either Mach3 triple blade men's cartridges, or ladies Venus cartridges so can be enjoyed by either sex!

The handle is 112mm long (just under 4 1/2inches) not including the metal parts, and made with borosilicate glass, (normally known by the 'Pyrex' trade name, the clear glass I use is normally used to make laboratory grade glassware!)

Inside the handle I've loaded it with whisps of bright straw yellow glass in various tones. Into this I've added some reactive glass which have hints of purples and dark pinks that are visiable only in bright daylight ( due to the odd way this glass works UV in daylight helps bring out these colours,) and are a darker red-brown colour in dull lighting! At the junction of the head and handle is an area of rich deep opaque cobalt blue glass, with trails of yellows and greens for added interest.

The handle has been entirely free formed to make an organic shape, free forming glass like this does make it a real unique one-off piece of glasswork and very tactile!

The head has a nickel plate finish, and can take either men's Mach3 cartridges or women's Venus cartridges. I will supply with a Mach3 cartridge, but if you prefer to have it without I can supply it bladeless for a £1.50 reduction.

The glass has been fully annealed in a microprocessor controlled kiln to improve toughness, however it is glass so should be treated with care, and then it will last a lifetime.
