I Sue Barritt am the data-controller of your personal information as it relates to my shop.
When you place an order from me, I will receive your name, delivery address and email address from Folksy. I will only use these details to process and deliver your order, or deal with any queries you have related to that order. If you send me a message using the contact button on Folksy, I will receive your username and email address.
The only circumstances in which I will share your data are in processing your order or complying with the law. I will never use or pass on your information to third parties for marketing purposes or any other purpose, other than the circumstances listed below, or add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent. The circumstances in which I may share your data are:
• With Folksy to comply with my obligations.
• With delivery companies to fulfil your order.
• To comply with legal or tax obligations.
I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the transaction and I will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years. After this time I will delete your data from my records.
You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.

All items are handmade and although two may be similar, no two will be absolutely identical.
This is because they are all made individually and decorated by hand.
However, nothing leaves my workplace unless I am totally satisfied with it..
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
For faulty goods:
These must be returned straight away, wrapped as they were received in their original packaging.
I want you to be happy with your purchase, but if , for whatever reason, you are not, please return it ,undamaged, in the same packaging within 10 days of receipt and I will give a refund for the item or exchange for another item of the same value.
Return postage will not be paid for these items.
If the item is damaged or faulty, you must let me know immediately and I will be happy to exchange it as soon as I receive the returned item.
I must be informed of breakages within 3 days of you receiving the item to qualify for replacement.
Must be returned within 3 working days, from receipt,wrapped as they were received in their original packaging.
If we are charged import duties by UK customs when goods are returned, these costs will be deducted from your refund.
We are charged these where you state on the customs form the name of the goods and value.
Please mark any returns coming from abroad with RETURNING MERCHANDISE FOR REFUND on your customs form.
The only items I cannot accept as a return are special orders that have been made specifically for you or wholesale orders.
Due to hygiene reasons earrings cannot be returned.
