Hey! I'm Sarah Gough, a watercolour artists and stationery designer using my original artworks.
My subjects range from wildflowers, vintage and botanical style florals, a few landscapes, and recently, quirky illustrations for my Art Cards, available pretty soon!
My motivation to paint nature, is the same as when I was very small - my love of being outside in the clean fresh air, up close and personable, to the wonders of garden life through all the seasons.
Always on hand for inspiration are my local woodlands in the Moss Valley, and the breath-taking scenery of the Peak District National Park, close to where I live with my family.  Nature is delightful and joyously refreshing, with its playful and perfect colour palettes. Absolutely anything in Creation pairs beautifully in design and hue! I love it!
I have 2 guinea pigs that are my painting and crafting companions, called Meri and Maud. They chatter away, usually sat in a woolly hat on my studio table. I have a home Studio now, thanks to one of our sons who moved and got married. I am a messy worker, so having a dedicated space for crafting and painting is brilliant for keeping all my mess in one room of the house only!
