Handmade nature inspired original textile art

My name is Claire and I make pretty nature inspired home décor items and gifts from my home studio in Yarm, North Yorkshire. I am a Mum to 3 grown up children and have one gorgeous granddaughter.

I have always loved to make things since I was very young, encouraged by both my grandmothers and have tried my hand at many crafts over the years. Romilly Rose Gifts was born in 2017 and started as a way to help me get over the death of my father. The following year I took voluntary redundancy from the Civil Service to spend more time on my new venture.

I love to create beautiful pictures inspired by the nature around me, flowers and landscapes are my favourite. I use a mixture of beautifully subtle textiles and fibres including fabrics that I hand dyed with natural dyes. My pictures are carefully created with a real attention to detail to bring you a pretty felt landscapes and free motion embroidery textile art that will look beautiful in your home.
