Handmade Paper, bowls and journals Inspired by the colours and textures of the natural world.

The name "Rainbow Antelope" comes from the funky little herd of retro, wooden animals I rescued, repaired and painted, several years ago, when I had a vintage market stall.
I have always been interested in design and making things. From learning to sew when I was a child, to starting my working life as a Kitchen and Bathroom Designer in the 80s and branching out over my working life into other creative fields.
I love finding unloved and damaged wooden objects and breathing new life into them. I'm inspired by nature and the wonderful colours around us. I'm a lover of textures and patterns especially from the 60s and 70s. I like to make handmade paper from natural and recycled materials. Paper mache is very therapeutic to work with. I create my own monoprints and include stitching into my journals and handmade cards. I paint and draw and love mixed media and textiles.
I like to create one off, unique pieces that are individual.
I have City and Guilds qualifications in Art and Design, Papercraft, Soft Furnishings and Interior Design.
I have a little cat and a nutty dog.
